MCP server

Flett is a remote MCP server. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex, then ask for a diagram, a flowchart, a mind map, a deck or a document. It lands on a shared whiteboard as real items you can move, edit, present and export, not as a picture or an artifact in a chat. Everyone on the board watches it being drawn.

Diagrams

1. Claude

   In Settings, open Connectors, add a custom connector, paste the URL and connect.

2. Claude Code

   Run this, then type /mcp and authenticate flett.

3. ChatGPT

   In Settings, add a custom connector (MCP server) with the URL and sign in.

4. Cursor

   Add it to .cursor/mcp.json, then connect it in Settings under MCP.

6. Any other client

   Flett speaks MCP over streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in. Point the client at the URL and it finds the rest.

The first time, the app sends you to Flett to sign in and allow it. You can use it on your own boards and on boards shared with you; boards shared with you to look at stay read only. Your profile page shows the URL too.

What is the Flett MCP server?

A remote MCP server at https://flett-pi.vercel.app/api/mcp. Once connected, an AI app like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex can draw on your Flett boards: diagrams, notes, slides, documents and maps, all editable afterwards.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs on Flett's servers. You add the URL in your AI app and sign in with your Flett account, Google or Microsoft.

Is it free?

Connecting and reading boards is free. A free account gets 50 board changes a day through MCP, and the paid plans have no limit. Your AI app's own model does the thinking, so none of your Flett balance is spent.

Can other people see what my AI draws?

Everyone on the board sees it appear live, the same as when a person draws. Your boards stay private until you share them, and a view-only link keeps the AI from changing a board shared with you.

How is this different from an artifact or a canvas in the chat?

What the AI makes lands on a board you keep, next to everything else on it. People you share it with can move, edit and comment on it, present it, and export it to PDF, PowerPoint, PNG or HTML.
