The board

Finding things

Find anything on the board you are on with ⌘F, and search every board you have from the boards page.

Find on the board

Press ⌘F, or the magnifying glass beside the board's name, and type. Everything whose words match is listed in reading order, top to bottom, then left to right. Press Enter to go to the next one and ShiftEnter to go back, or click one in the list. The board moves to it and selects it. Esc closes the bar.

Sheets
Their name and every word in them, as the AI wrote it or as you edited it.
Notes, text and shapes
What is written in them, and the label of an arrow.
Links
The page's title, the line about it, its site and its address.
Documents and frames
Their names.

Every word you type has to be there, in any case, and a word can be part of a longer one: “plan” finds “Planning”.

Search all your boards

The search field on your boards page looks through every board you have and every board shared with you. Results are grouped by board, with the words around each match. Click one to open its board right at it.

Search across boards reads boards as they are saved, a few seconds behind the board itself. It finds what documents are called, not the words inside them; the AI reads those, see Files, images and the web.
